Masonry Conservation:
Glen Fern

In 2005 the Trust completed a mortar analysis using acid digestion and petrographic analysis to determine the composition of historic mortars.

Wood Conservation:
Abington Meetinghouse

A wonderful example of Quaker Meetinghouse architecture that has been little touched since it was first built.

Wood Conservation:
Water Works

Designed and engineered by Frederick Graff in 1812 the Water Works was one of the most visited sites in North America during the 19th century.

Historic Interiors:
Glen Fern

In 2008 the Fairmount Park Trust, reviewed paint data gathered some years earlier by students of the University of Pennsylvania.

Project Management:
Chamounix Mansion

Located in the northern end of West Fairmount Park, Chamounix Mansion was constructed by Geo. Plumstead in 1802 and enlarged in the 1850’s by Topliff Johnson.

Research & Documentation:
Ellen Phillips Samuel Memorial

The Samuels Memorial, located on Kelly Drive in East Fairmount Park, was designed by Paul Cret and built between 1933 and 1961.

Public Art:
Graff Memorial

The Graff Memorial was erected in the South Garden of the Fairmount Waterworks in 1848 by the City Council of Philadlephia.
